AbstractRole of information transmitting and processing hardware is evident in any kind of organization. The better these resources are, the better will be the performance of the company both in terms of profit and customer satisfaction. Textile industry of Pakistan is considered to be the backbone of the nation. After agricultural sector, it is the largest single industry providing jobs to over 200,000 people. The better the status of this industry, the better will be the economic condition of the country. This study focuses on the role on information transmitting and processing hardware in the textile industry of Pakistan and tries to explore the areas where these resources can be applied, the constraints while application of the resources and the opportunities.
