Abstract | Marketing is one of those activities that ask for more interest, devotion and enthusiasm than others. Each one of us is in his own way involved in this activity because of the importance of marketing I have chosen the topic of distribution system of Coca Cola Company Pakistan. This study is based on the information communicated to me during interviews with Company employees as well as channel members involved in the distribution system of Coca Cola Company. Coca Cola Company Pakistan was established in early 60’s. Coca Cola South West Asia is the regional office of The Coca Cola Export Corporation. The branch office of The Coca Cola Company in Pakistan was established in Lahore. In the region of Lahore Coca Cola Company works with the local bottler known as Rehman Bottlers on a contractual basis. This study carries out the analysis of distribution channels of Coca Cola Company Pakistan. The study deals with the current situation in which Company modified its distribution from indirect sales to direct sales. In this study particularly channel members are studied and logistic channel is not considered carefully. The Company's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats regarding distribution channels are studied. The channel members opinion about the Company is also studied and their suggestions to the Company are also given. Lastly the study gives the conclusion and recommendations to the Company. |
