AbstractICI agrochemicals is the fourth largest multinational company dealing in agricultural pesticides in Pakistan. The company has three main products for cotton crop, on which most of the sales depends. ICI is marketing it's products in almost all cotton growing area in Pakistan. EDGRO Pvt. Ltd. is one of the newly established agricultural pesticide company in Pakistan. Presently the company is selling it's products in only two specific areas where cotton is grown extensively. In this study, marketing strategies of ICI and EDGRO were compared. The study emphasized the need for a market-oriented approach. It was analyzed how the companies focus their efforts on serving and satisfying their customers by developing a marketing mix strategies under the company's management control, i.e. the 4 P's.
