Abstract | This study presents a modeling of Bayesian equalizer with decision feedback. The Bayesian equalizer which is based on Bayesian solution is derived by using bayes' theorem. By utilizing ~ decision feedbaack is proposed which not only improves equalization performance but also reduces computational complexity. The transmission channel has been assumed three path raised cosine channel. Adaptive channel estimation approach is developed to realize the Bayesian equalization performance. The simplest Least Mean Square (LMS) algorithm is used for adaptive channel estimation. Simulation is employed in Matlab environment in order to evaluate the performance of the Bayesian DFE by applying n/4- shifted- DQPSK modulation scheme. The simulation bit- error- rate (BER) results are presented for various transmission channels and decision delays. |
