Abstract | The present study dealt with the technical and economic evaluations of broiler formula feed produced in Anhui Province. The nutrient levels in the collected formulae were checked. The nutrient contents in sampled raw materials and finished formula feed mainly used in the Province were determined subjecting to chemical analysis. The data of previous feeding trials were collected and analyzed. The results show the followings. There was no significant difference in ME contents in the formulas used by big and small feed mills and the feeding standard value ( P > 0.05 ). The CP and Met.+ Tyr. contents in the formulas and finished feeds of big feed mills were significantly higher ( P < 0.05 ) than those of small feed mills. However, there was no significant difference in the other EAA contents and feeding standard values ( P > 0.05 ) except for the content of Met.+ Tyr. The protein-energy ratio was not of the significant difference in all of the checked feeds and feeding standard value ( P > 0.05 ). There was no significant difference for the values of CF, EE, Ca, P, and Ca/P ratio between the feeds of big and small feed mills and the value provided for by the feeding standard. There was significant difference in the values of DWG, FCR, feed input, profit based on the feeding trials by using the feeds made by big feed mills and by small feed mills ( P < 0.05 ). Optimum solution to feed formulation, least cost formula, was recommended. And an application model of linear programming was developed to make raw material purchase plan which is very important for a feed company to guarantee the quality of finished feeds. |
