Abstract | This thesis study is aimed at the proposal of an object-oriented programming which is based upon the specific characteristics and requirements of the Telephone Controlling and Charging system (TC&C). The TC&C application involves the international public telephone; various basic object concepts are formulated under the framework of an object-oriented paradigm, in order to be a natural model of the application. Both structural and behavioral aspects are taken into account. They best serve as generic object classes on which various specific object classes can be built, serve individual application supporting mechanisms such as the International Subscriber Dialing service (ISD), Demand service, monitor, printer, communication and various proposed functions. A comparison of the proposed object-oriented programming with the existing procedure programming is also included. |
