AbstractThe centralized treatment plant, for recovering the heavy metals, is a great project to alleviate the water pollution problem. The feasibility of this project is questionable. The objective of this thesis is to study the feasibility analysis of the project talcing into consideration also the transportation cost, the interest rate, and the other factors. The financial analysis is adopted to considerated the relationship between the net present value and the payback period and used them to compared and finally, the result can indicated the feasibility of the project. The results of this study indicate that in the case of nickel recovery system, it is feasible to install this project with the payback period around three years while the chromium recovery system is infeasible. In this study, it was found that the payback period of the nickel recovery system was increasingly together with the interest rate. This study also proposes the experimental study of a centralized treatment plant to adjust the cost data collection.
