Abstract | The nonlinear finite element analysis program for reinforced concrete called "WCOMR" is modified to be able to trace the load-displacement curve of reinforced concrete structures subjected to a proportional load by using displacement control technique. Nonlinear analyses of underground reinforced concrete structures in nuclear power facilities subjected to complicated loading patterns are performed to demonstrate the application of the modified program, and comparisons with the available experimental and numerical results are made. |
