AbstractForeign investment is the significant role in these days for most of the developing countries . The development of the country is closely related to the level of foreign investment. This foreign investment inflow is also depend on the level of country risk and opportunity gjven by the host government. Foreign investor should assess both opportunity and country risk level to formulate the short and long term strategy. The objective of the study is to evaluate and analyze the country and political risk level that wil 1 effect to the foreign firms that have desire to make the investment in Myanmar. This report starts out with the 1 iterature review on country profile and political risk definitions. Subsequently, the model is explained as methodology to be used in analysis . The research has analyzed the economic factors, sociopolitical factors, corporate factors and investment factors that give the insight to country associated risk and project associated risk. The combinalion effect of these two risk categories is assisted as the total country and political risk emphasis on particular project to be perform in Myanmar. Finally, the guide lines for foreign investment to be performed in Myanmar are formulated as research finding. The paper concludes ~y comments and suggestion for further analysis to be performed in greater detail.
