AbstractTechnology tra nsfer along with new enterprise creation is a concept that i s eagerly being looked into by both the deve lope d and the developing countri es . The goals b ein g different or similar dependi ng on th e circumstances . The corn ers tone of t hi s program is the presence of a t echnology incuba tor, providing a n environment of cost effective space , s hared services, management s upport , R&D facilitie s and busines s and profess iona l advisors. This research is centered around a case study of t he technology incubator in Ales, France. Its ope ration has been studied pointing out its strong and weak points, and then giving r ecommendat ions how to make it more e ffi cient. Based on the case s tudy a nd t he technologica l situation in Thailand, recommendations are g iven on establishing a n incubator on somewhat same footing in Thailand.
