AbstractIn the present study, a queueing kernel object is developed first. Based on this object a queueing system from single-queue-single-server to five-queue-ten-server is developed and to form a generic model serves as a generic simulation package . This means that the user can write not only a simulation program but also a generic simulation system. This study also supplies a graphic output object for system running visualization. The user can use this object to output any data simultaneously while the program is running. A case study explains how to form a directed-graph model for a queueing simulation problem and how to translate this directed-graph model into a Pascal queueing simulation program using the queueing kernel object. This case study also presents the ability of writing a generic manufacturing model by the users themselves.
