| Abstract | The objective is to show, through a concrete example, that Object-oriented programming provides an appropriate environment for development of a hypertext system. We design and develop a prototype of a hypertext system for information processing in a library-application using the object-oriented programming language Smalltalk. The test data are taken from ENSIC (Environmental Systems Information Center), an information system for environment. |
