AbstractProcessing of digital satellite image data to detect urban change monitoring in Hanoi City. Three methodologies were applied for study areas. They area : 1. Post Classification Comparison Technique 2. Application of Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) Technique 3. Image Regression Technique The results show that image regression technique provided the change detect with high accuracy in urban change in urban expansion and rebuilt. Used NDVI technique was provided very good results to detect urban change in fringe. Post Classification Comparison Technique provided the complete matrix of change but accuracy was low. The Landuse Map of Hanoi also was established by combination SPOT Panchromatic and Multispectral High Resolution Data, the good result was obtained.
