AbstractMultinational corporations (MNC) of developed country are involved in technology transfer to developing country companies. The process involves selling a technology by MNC to a buyer in developing country. The price depends on their relative bargaining power. In spite of the weak bargaining power, developing country companies need MNCs and their technologies for the development and growth of business. This research is a study on two cases of technology transfers to a developing country joint venture company. The study reveals the difference between two cases and offers some explanations of the situation based on knowledge available from literature review.
