Abstract | Today, name tags are used everywhere in our daily life, and the name tag is an important item to show the identity of people. The traditional name tag requires frequent replacement of the paper name card and places it in a plastic case, which is very time consuming and not environmentally friendly, hence inefficient. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) based smart conference name tag is an alternative to traditional name tags. This kind of smart name tag can be applied to meeting rooms and study rooms in campuses, enterprises, and factories. Also, can be placed in front of the taxi or bus driver’s seat to display their license information. It can identify each person based on their unique RFID type Identity (ID) card. Users only need to place their ID card on the card reader, the name and number can be displayed on the Electronic Paper (E-Paper) screen immediately. Compared with the traditional name tag, it omits the process of replacing the paper name card. In addition, with the real-time clock function, the attending time of each participant can be recorded, which is convenient for administrators to manage. The smart conference name tag can be connected to the Cloud service through Wi-Fi networks, and the information, attend time records of the participants are stored in the database, and the relevant records can be viewed through the administrator Application Software (APP) |
