AbstractThe concept of public private partnerships (PPPs) involves the private sector in aspects of the provision of infrastructure assets of new or existing infrastructure services that have traditionally been provided by the government and this concept has attracted worldwide attention and acquired a new resonance in the context of developing countries. The aim of this study is to examine the level of factors affecting the implementation and to compare the evaluation level of the factors between government and private sectors. For this study, total 200 reliable responses were considered that included the equal number of respondents from both sectors. Statistical analysis has conducted to examine the factors and resulted as these five factors such as ‘Selecting the right project’, ‘Competitive procurement’, ‘Experience in public sector PPP project’, ‘Professional relationship between stakeholders’ and ‘Strong commitment by public and private sector’ were found as most supporting factors in implementation of PPP projects.
