AbstractConstruction industry in Thailand is one of the largest contributors to the country's economy. The construction projects are fraught with natural variables and uncertainties and consist of several tasks which are to be performed in a sequence. The variation in timely completion of these works can be high and can have a significant negatively impact on project efficiency and results in waste, inefficiency, and loss of productivity. Therefore, this study aims to study Last Planner System (LPS) implementation in planning practice of construction project, identify the challenges of LPS implementation in construction project in Thailand and propose the LPS framework for building project of contractor company because LPS process can improve construction workflow and the reliability of project planning. The experts interview stage was applied to assessment level of LPS implement in the case study by analyzing traditional planning of case study versus LPS theory and develop the LPS framework for this contractor company. After the researcher got the LPS framework for company, this framework was proposed to expert as project manager and interview about the challenges of LPS implementation in building project. Once the detailed analysis of building project of contractor case studies is performed, LPS theory, framework of LPS implementation for this building contractor, the challenges of LPS implementation in building project of contractor in Thailand. The various solution of the problems also has been recommended to meet the objectives of this study.
