AbstractPlanning is an essential matter in a private university since most of the expenditure of the university is paid by the tuition fee which come from the students. Since the university is a dynamic system, the system dynamics approach can be used to model the university planning. The model proposed covers the general aspects of the overall physical and manpower planning in university. It contains five sectors, i.e. the building area, students, lecturers, staff members and cash balance. The various experiment conducted reveal that: 1. The policy implied in table function has a strong affect in the simulation result. 2. There are two parameters that determine the size of the university, i.e. the land availability and cash adequacy.
