Abstract | Absorption refrigerator with heat energy from the biogas is a very new area in the applications of biogas. Much work and improvement has been done to put into operation an about 20 or 30 years old unused Electrolux absorption refrigerator made in Sweden, which was established as the experiment equipment of thesis research. But the refrigeration system could not operated well enough for experiment because the absorber or fluid heat - exchanger were either clogged or double jacket walls of the heat - exchanger were leaking thereby mixing weak and strong solution, which is concluded through the comparison between mathematical model and practical test. This research was also to experiment on a CTL 175 SIBIR absorption refrigerator made in Switzerland. The author had to adapt a LPG burner to biogas. This has to be done by increasing the jet diameter and by closing primary air completely. Satisfactory results were obtained and it could be proven that the LPG burner supplied with the equipment was not optimized for LPG and the biogas refrigerator is save, reliable and easy to use. |
