| Abstract | In this study, a model is developed for a CAI system development package which is suitable in general course learning, The
package is designed and implemented using Turbo Pascal and linked
with Story Bearden IBM PC accompanying graphics on the co l or
monitor display terminal .
CAISYS ( CAI System development package ) is con trolled by a
login system which can automatically identify the user and conduct the user to his permitted level operation that is level
security control .
There are three parts for three kinds of users :
1. CAISYS Supervisor part for the CAISYB supervisor who will use CAISYS.
2. CAISYS Teacher part for the CAISYS Teacher who will create the material of the courseware which will which will be taught to students.
3. CAISYS Student Learning part for the student who which will learn the material from CAISYS.
CAISYS is developed specially to make it user friendly and interactive to student learning which is the main purpose of CAI. Student can learn the material from one point to any point he wants if the point's material exists. For example, he can from chapter1 jump to chapter2, from section3 jump to chapter5, from Pretest jump to chapter 1, from learn type menu jump to section menu, and so on. Student can learn the courseware from CAISYS as a living teaching which includes Pretest, Content, Exercise and Formal Test.
In Pretest, the system follows the student situation to offer the Tutorial material to help him to learn the special section content. In content, it follows the student operation to learn the Pre_structure material. In Exercise, the same practice is adopted. In formal Test, it likes the examination in the classroom, student can do any question he likes first, and second, and so on, but if Test time is up, then he will be forced to stop any operation in formal test and CAISYS will record his score to the student file for Teacher future analysis.
