| Abstract | Photovoltaic system applied to cathodic protection and water e l ectrolysis were studied. For solar powered cathodic protection s ystem, exp eriment has bee n built to d e t ermine the s iz e of PV array a nd Batte ry require for a bare s t eel pipe in seawater. The exp erime nt results shows that the photovoltai c systems can successfully app lied i nto cathodic protection to prevent me tal s tructures corrosion . For solar photovoltaic - wa ter e l ec troly zer system, a simulation program has been developed to simul ate the dire ctly coupled system operation . The system simulation results has a l so been checked by the experiment results. The system efficiency and the approach to system optimization are studied a nd discussed. |
