AbstractComputer programs based on hydrological and hydrodynamic models are created to simulate the operation of drainage network. In the hydrological model, simplification of NAM model is used and in the hydrodynamic model, the Saint-Venant equations of one-dimensional unsteady flow with an implicit 4-point Preisman scheme at the interior grid points and Method of Characteristics at internal and external boundaries are applied. The created computer program and MIKE11 package are applied to THANHLIEM drainage network. The results of two computer programs correlate well with observations.
