AbstractHigh cost of foreign technology appeared to be a predominant issue in the international transfer of commercial technology, and it was also widely acclaimed that the major cause of excessive technological payment was the lack of bargaining power on the recipient. A hypothetical model based on multiple linear regression aimed at estimating and explaining the levels and determinants of the explicit costs of technology transfer and its corresponding output performances was proposed.
