AbstractThailand has made swift & steady strides towards prosperty since 1986, but still confronts obstacles in industrial development specially in high technology electronics industry both Physically and adminstratively. Dynamic nature of electronics industry needs continuous evalution to account relatively faster changes in technology, products, markets and to readj ust development measure with in broad policy frame work. This study composed of analysis of past performence, trends, future development prospects, and opinion analysis of the industrialists in identifying the policies & factors affecting development. Based on the analysis of the real problem that has been carried out in this research, pertinent conclusions are drawn with in the frame work of electronics industry development. This document will also serve as a comprehensive sou rce of updated and most recent information, not available under one roof , for policy and investment planning.
