AbstractAn assessment of hazardous waste practices in dry cell battery and storage battery industries with the objective of providing an overview of various phases of the hazardous waste life cycle from generation through its storage, transportation, treatment and disposal as well as cost on treatment and disposal has been studied for furthur planning on the hazardous waste management. The personal visit to the plant with on-site interview and observation is employed to compile the detailed and pertinent information for this study.
