Abstract | A downdraft firebrick a nd charcoal was designed, a nd biomass consumption presented in this report. gasifier for gasifying corn cob, wood fabricated and tested. Gas composition at different hearth load s have been A producer gas combustion system was designed, fabricated and tested. Experimental flame temperature at different eq uiva l ence ratios has been reported. Effect of scrubbing and coo ling of producer gas on flame temperature has been discussed. A model of water scr ubbin g wa s developed for this purpose. A critica l review of present producer gas tar measuring techniques was carried out. Results of comparative tar measurement using different techniques have been presented. |
