Experimental flame temperature at different eq uiva l ence ratios has been reported. Effect of scrubbing and coo ling of producer gas on flame temperature has been discussed. A model of water scr ubbin g wa s developed for this purpose. A critica l review of present producer gas tar measuring techniques was carried out. Results of comparative tar measurement using different techniques have been presented.
