| Abstract | Studies related to crop threshing and separation have
been reviewed. Threshing systems which have straw bruising system
have also been reviewed . Studies related to material separation
on the con cave and t he straw rack/walkers have also been
presented in t his study report. Pneumatic separation and cleaning
donot fall in the purview of this study. Areas of research have
been suggested with special reference t o farming conditions
similar to India.
