Abstract | This research was to modify charcoal /R11 4 (Dchloro Tetraflouro and run t h e Ethane > so lid activated adsorption refrigerator , which was originally designed and constructed by Dr. R.E. Critoph at Warwick University. The collector of there frigerated has an area of 1 m2 a nd is fill e d with 24. 2 k g of coconut based activate d charcoal (G r ad e 2 0 7Cl in t h e collector tubes. The performance of t h e solar refrigerator for selected clear and cloudy days is presented in this report . Test results showed that the system can not produce ice . The minimum evaporator temperature recorded was about 1 4 ° C, and the experimentally observed overall solar COP value was 0.014. |
