AbstractA computer program is developed for the analysis of underground pipelines. Using this program both linear and nonlinear analysis of the soil pipeline interaction system can be carried out . It's main application is in obtaining the stresses developed in pipeline due to ground movement which is quite important in areas prone to earthquakes. Various orientations of pipeline and ground movement have been analyzed to obtain the most critical situation.
