AbstractThis research is focus on determine and minimize the critical factor in high-rise building project in Bangkok, Thailand. The method of this research is combination between Delphi method and Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) which use to evaluate and prioritize the delay factor base on their important in term of causing delay. This combination can gather the additional delay factor by Delphi method and determine the weight by FAHP. The study collect data from 14 experts (7 contractors, 7 consultants) from construction field related to the high-rise building project. The critical delay factors are dominant in term of law & regulation and financial aspect. The cause of delay are poor financial management of owner and contractor with coordination and the improper of plan and managing following law & regulation. The solution of the problem is understanding law and integrated with planning, monitor and control financial properly, and training skill for worker and management for engineers.
