AbstractAn experimental program is carried out to investigate the effect of variation of percentage of RHA as well as that of fineness of RHA in making of concrete . The experimental results so obtained have been used to incorporate in the existing DOE mix design method and an attempt has been made to develop an easy and simple method for the calculation of various constituents of concrete when RHA is used as a partial replacement in it . In this research RHA substitution was varied from 35% to 55% and the fineness of RHA was varied from 75% to 95% . 810 cylinders for 90 different mixes were made to study the effect of RHA percentage and fineness on the workability and strength of resulting concrete Finally a mix design method has been proposed for RHA concrete for u se with Ordinary Portland Cement .
