Abstract | This research report presents the results of a study on consumption and opportunities for conservation of energy in a rubber factory, Yongthai Rubber Manufacturing Company. The functions that were looked into were: water treatment in boiler house, insulation, flue gas temperature, condensate recovery, a nd power factor. An attempt was made in each case to identify areas where energy was not being used effectively a nd specific recommendations were made for possible savings. An estimated baht 1. 007 million saving every year was found feasible. The total in vestment required for this would be baht 0. 752 million. |
