AbstractThe major problem in Indonesia is overagglomeration of population and economic activities and shortage of housing in Jakarta, capital of the republic of Indonesia. One of the way to solve this problem, especially housing shortage is to construct housing by means to increase housing avaibility. This study focuses on examining interaction among activities within the city using System Dynamics Simulation Model, which is very usefull for analyzing urban policies. and This model is made of three major sectors: Ci) Population Household sectors by income class, (ii) Housing sector by size ( iii) Economic Activities by Agriculture, Industry and Service. As a result Using this model, the study can give the description how to solve those problem.
