Abstract | The main motivation and objective of the internship report were to fulfill my MBA requirement of 12 credits course work and the internship report set by AIT and also to gain hands-on experiences of organizations internationally besides my home country Nepal. This internship report was completed with the objectives of getting the experiences of gaining practical knowledge besides theoretical knowledge in the HR Department. The responsibilities and the activities that I performed during my internship period in IUCN have a life-changing experiences and ware able to associate the knowledge learned practically. Firstly, I learned the real-life experiences of talking with various people and maintaining the same level of equity towards the employees and behavior changes. Secondly, I was able to learn various formats of HR and technical sides of office packages; words, excel, power-point presentation. IUCN provided me with a handful of opportunities not only to enhance my skills but also to exhibit talents, learnings, knowledge as team members. I could somehow use the theoretical knowledge & skills in HR and anticipate them in any objectives and discussions. Working in the HR Team, a simple casual lunch would make a huge difference to discuss and share different ideas towards the job functions and the departments with respective improvements. I was able to share my experiences and knowledge and welcomed with any sort of ideas, respect the cultural diversities, and appreciated every effort made. I was successfully able to learn many ideas and the workforce of the HR Department. I enjoyed every challenge that came in the way. The lesson that I have learned will be a valuable lesson for my future endeavors and also would recommend the workplace. |
