AbstractPurpose- The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of factors of human resource practices on the performance of the employees. Methodology- The data collection was done via questionnaires. A total of 203 respondents from the organizations were used for the study. Hierarchical multiple regression was conducted to analyze the data. Findings- The findings from the regression analysis suggested that selection and recruitment, performance appraisal and career planning assert positive and significant impact on the performance of the employees. The study, however, did not find evidence to support the argument that compensation, training and development, employee participation asserts positive impact on performance of the employees. Among the demographic factors, age affects significantly to the employee’s performance. Implications- The findings offer suggestions that human resource practices can be progressed more in multinational companies. Managers need to know reasons and problems related to human resource factors so they can put correct policies and procedures in place. Recognizing the factors and uncertainties affecting the employee’s performance in an organization will help them remain ahead of the competition and achieve their organizational goals for years to come.
