AbstractSince Entrepreneurship has become a familiar course being taught in Universities around the world, this research tries to figure out how the entrepreneurial intention is being developed among MBA students at university level. With very limited research carried out in the developing countries, this study analyses the obstacles perceived towards imparting entrepreneurial intentions among graduate students and to determine best practices to teach entrepreneurial intention according to students at institution level from India and Nepal. With interpretive qualitative research design chosen for this study to decipher the responses in more descriptive and coherent manner, this study has managed to gather interesting findings about how students view factors affecting entrepreneurial intent is being addressed at different institutions. Self-efficacy of Indian students was visibly higher than Nepalese students and are forecasted to more likely to venture into entrepreneurial career paths. Practice to incorporate industry specific entrepreneurial courses with narrower views as opposed to general entrepreneurship course and design entrepreneurship projects as electives for completion of MBA degree has been suggested. General gaps in developing entrepreneurial intention in university level perceived by the students from India and Nepal has been identified and methods to address the perceived issues at both institutional as well as government level has been suggested.
