Abstract | This study tried to analyze the pattern of the comparative advantages of the manufacturing industries of four of the ASEAN countries and the United States, using the Regional Specialization Linear Programming Model , with two factor inputs of labour and capital. The industries were disaggregated to two digit ISIC level. The results were compared with the revealed comparative advantages derived from h e export figures. This study indicates that it is necessary to disaggregate the industries in more detail and introduce more factors. |
