AbstractThis study presents the development of a computerized information system for the Systems Planning and Operation Office of the Bank of Thailand. The system is developed for the Director and project leaders to track the progress and problems of the projects under their responsibilities by using exception reports. It also provides details of the budget, actual expenditure and resources usage of the projects. The current activities of the Systems Planning and Operation Office were analyzed to obtain a true picture of processes and problems using the structured analysis technique. Project leaders and the Director were interviewed and their requirements noted. These requirements were used in designing a new system using a data base package "MAPPER" running under UNIVAC computer system. The processing of the system is on-line interactive and using the menu-driven technique in retrieving the information for displaying on screen and for printing on the printer.
