| Abstract | This study presents the design and development of a computer-assisted language learning (CALL) system as a tool for English teaching on a microcomputer. The main purpose of the system is to create and provide lessons to assist students who need to develop the technical English skill. The system capabilities include an instructional information retrieval tool, a delivery tool, and answer processing and error correction which requires no additional authoring effort over right/wrong evaluation. The CALL system is implemented on a IBM Personal Computer. ALL CALL programs are developed in Basic Advanced programming language. |
