AbstractPost ripening period in the filtration cycle can provide an important information of filter design. Most of the microscopic mathematical models describe only the ripening stage. In this study a mathematical model was development based on the approaches of O'MELIS-ALI and ADIN to represent the entire filter cycle of filtration. The model was verified and simulated by experimental data obtained in the present study and collected from previous studies. This developed model was useful to study the effects of operating parameters on post ripening stage of filtration.
