AbstractThe study describes a model in urban land use analysis by means of microcomputer. It focuses not only on locating suitable areas but also on allocating efficient use on the urban land . The study emphasises on the use of demand and supply relationship to determine the pattern of land use under assumption of minimizing various costs indicated by distance. The study normalized input of map documents, both from the surveying of Department of Town and Country Planning and from other sources. These documents are diffrent in time period, scale and purpose. The study is aiming to give a guide line for proper information data base, which is necessary in systematic planning, in urban land-use planning in her country . This will give a supporting informations about essential urban features, and also keeps constant and close tab on urban growth pattern, for the purpose of urban land-use planning in the future.
