AbstractTraveler behavior analysis plays an important role in transportation planning and management. Holidays are special periods and give rise to many kinds of non-mandatory trips, such as shopping trips and tourist trips. The trips during the holiday increase congestion and number of accidents. Therefore, it is important to understand the travelerbehavior during the holiday.This study focuses on finding out the influential factors and attitudes that are affecting the Thai and non-Thai travelers. A questionnaire was developed, and the survey was conducted in Bangkok by distributing the questionnaire to the people one month before the Songkran festival which is the most important holiday season in Thailand. From the analysis, it is founded that the factors of average monthly household income and occupation are influencing Thai travelers. Whereas for non-Thai traveler’s private vehicle and marital status are influencing.
