Abstract | Several countries around the world are faced with road accident problems. One of these problems is motorcycle accident. In Thailand, the number of this problem is increasing every year and can lead to various effects. One of these effects is the severity of casualties. To reduce the severity level, it is essential to look for the factors which related to severity in motorcycle accidents. Therefore, the data collection of a motorcycle accident was obtained from three major factors which were the detail of roads, vehicles, and human. The total of three things is one hundred and eighty-seven items per case. Thirty-five items of them are chosen because they are the interesting variants. They are checked in order to look for their correlation and are found that six factors of them have the correlation. Some of them should be excluded. After that, all factor are the interesting variables and did not correlate. They were inputted to calculate in Binary Logistic Regression Model. The resultant from thisstudy can help to comprehend which factors are influencing to the severity level in motorcycle accidents. |
