| Abstract | Analytics is a technology that helps businesses make better decisions. It has been growing in popularity over the past few years, and businesses are using it to manage different aspects of their operations. Decision-makers are using more computerized tools to support their work, and even consumers are using analytics tools to make decisions on things like shopping, health care, and travel. The field of business intelligence and business analytics (BI & BA) has evolved rapidly, and there are new applications coming out every day. The term analytics has become mainstream, and it has been changing into other terms like data science and the Internet of Things. This thesis is about how computer-aided management (CAM) technologies can help decision-makers in a company. These technologies have had a big impact on how the company performs, and they are collectively called business intelligence, business analytics, and data science. The author specifically uses Power BI software to create dashboards that help managers keep track of important business metrics. |
