| Abstract | Geologic logging and sampling of rock cores for engineering purposes has been extensively reviewed. This includes general information on logging work, borehole logging, core logging, several techniques on core handling and layout of log sheets. A series of tables summarizing the responses to the questionnaires is prepared. The results of the investigation is presented as a proposed work manual for this topic. The work manual will be a relevant instruction for undergraduate and master's level students. |
