Abstract | This research study attempts to development and implement the preliminary stages of a Bengali Word/Information Processor (W/IP). The theoretical analysis of the Bengali characters has been carried out and a key-board arrangement has been made similar to the existing mechanical Bengali typewriter. The text has been considered to be represented in two levels. An algorithm is prepared and implemented using the F-BASIC Programming Language o the FUJITSU MICRO-8 microcomputer. Beside some basic functions to operate the Bengali W/I P, the sorting and merging algorithms were also developed in this study which can arrange the text in an ascending order. |
