AbstractManpower and skills assessment in the energy sector are a vital component of energy planning. The manpower requirement of this sector may not be quantitatively large but the quality of skills required is entirely dependent on time to be developed. It, therefore, becomes essential for every nation to include the assessment of manpower requirements and the corresponding training programs and development in their over-all energy program. Such is the endeavor of this paper for the Philippine Energy Program 1982-1987.
