AbstractThe study reported herein, is concerned with the critical evaluation of some methods of technology assessment, which, in general opinion, are the effective solution approaches. The comparison has been made on criteria selected on the basis of the functions of technology assessment and the usefulness of this king of study. Further, it concerns with the propositions of possible modifications of the cross-support matrix (perhaps the better solution method), by incorporating judgements, different views/comments to aid the policy maker to arrive at a more rational decision. A case example has been cited to illustrate now the same problem can be solved by the different solution approaches considered.
