AbstractIn this study, a courseware package has been developed for the teaching of different types of angles at Secondary One level in Singapore Secondary Schools. The package was implemented on an Apple II Plus microcomputer with a graphics display terminal, two disk drives and a printer. The software developed for the proposed system consists of:- i) a course comprising of frames of learning materials with which the student interacts ii) general student response evaluation facilities iii) a supervisory system which interfaces the student with the learning material and monitors his progress through the package iv) aids for the teacher in preparing the learning material as well as class management and obtaining feedback of the performance of the students in tests and tutorials. The package has been field tested in four secondary Schools in Singapore and the findings are presented and discussed.
