Abstract | This special study deals with the analysis and simulation of some important meteorological data, namely atmospheric temperature, relative humidity, rainfall, evaporation, and sunshine duration. The stepwise regression analysis is used to find out the relationships among the specified meteorological data. Two relationships among the specified meteorological data. Two first order Markov chain models are evaluated for the simulation of daily rainfall generation. Finally, a new simulation model based on the method of fragments is developed and evaluated for the meteorological daily data generation. All the models are tested by using data collected from the General Meteorological Department, Hanoi, Vietnam. The computer programs of all the modes involved are developed, tested, and documented. |
